iPhone 11 Pro: A Compact Powerhouse

iPhone 11 Pro: Improved Design

The rear glass has been strengthened to handle more knocks, bumps, water, and dust; nevertheless, it has been altered to introduce a different camera section and has been given a matte frosted coating, which means it doesn’t reflect as much as its predecessors.

The most significant design modification is the addition of a third camera on the device’s back, which transforms the camera from a more integrated component to a prominent “look at me” feature. This phone makes a point of letting you know that it has three cameras. Rather than being buried in a single block, those cameras protrude from the case, and each has its own lens frame.

While the iPhone 11 Pro has the same 5.8-inch display size as the iPhone XS, it isn’t the same display and has several significant changes (also worth noting: it’s a slightly smaller screen than the iPhone 11). There’s still True Tone support and a wide color gamut, but it now has a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits, more than sufficient for HDR video playback, and a contrast ratio of up to 2,000,000:1, which is double that of the iPhone XS.

That is why Apple has chosen the name “Super Retina XDR.” Everything pops, whether it’s lush gaming visuals, dark scenes, or brilliant explosions, and you can genuinely see the difference between this model and prior OLED iPhone models. So whether you’re watching movies, binge-watching Netflix, or playing video games, this screen shines.

This switch to the Super Retina XDR display has two additional outcomes: greater battery life due to its efficiency (when combined with a newer processor) and the loss of 3D Touch.

Apple had previously eliminated 3D Touch from the iPhone XR due to a lack of developer support; thus, all iPhone 11 models now use Haptic Touch instead. That means you can now rapidly and effectively select a Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth device by long-pressing on the settings icon.

iPhone 11 Pro: Longer battery life thanks to a new strong processor

A new processor almost always accompanies a new iPhone. Apple switched to the A13 Bionic in 2019, an update from the iPhone XS A12 Bionic, which guarantees faster performance. Everything is smooth, loads quickly, and works without delay.

Apple isn’t alone in this; the industry’s continued improvement in speed and performance allows us to do a variety of things behind the scenes. Such as stitching all that photo data together rather than simply loading Facebook faster. But we believe app demands will eventually grow into the new hardware available to them. Bottom line: you won’t notice if you were expecting your games to load faster.

You’ll notice a significant increase in battery life. The iPhone 11 Pro had more than enough battery to survive the day and then some in a variety of testing, including playing games, recording video, and everyday use while traveling around.

Even after what we would consider heavy usage, we’ve gotten to 5 p.m. and still been on 60%.

The U1 chip, which uses ultra-wideband technology for spatial awareness, is another impressive piece of gear. As a result, functionality like AirDrop should improve, with directionally aware suggestions.

There’s also fast charging, as with the iPhone XS, but Apple includes an 18W charger in the package with the iPhone 11 Pro, so you don’t have to go out and buy one.

iPhone 11 Pro: It’s All About The Camera

If you enjoy photography, Apple has set its sights on you. The iPhone 11 Pro has three cameras on the rear to provide a complete package. On the back, you’ll find a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens (26mm equivalent). A 12 megapixel 2x zoom lens (52mm equivalent), and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens (13mm equivalent).

The cameras are of exceptional quality. While the sensors for the wide and telephoto lenses are the same as we’ve seen on the iPhone XS. The ultra-wide lens allows you to capture far more of the scene. It’s what sets the cameras apart from the competition.

The camera app has been updated to show you what you could be capturing if you switch to the ultra-wide lens at any time — and, similar to the option to go from wide to zoom earlier. The experience has been expanded to accommodate the ultra-wide as well. One of the more pleasant upgrades is that Portrait mode no longer has to be close to your face.

The images are clear and crisp, with a lot of detail. It is unquestionably superior to the iPhone XS and previous iPhone models.

Apple also added Night Mode, which uses artificial intelligence to recognize when you’re taking a picture at night and adjusts accordingly.

Night Mode is completely automated, is likely its most distinguishing feature. It figures out when you’ll need it and for how long, so you can focus on taking the photo. The iPhone 11 Pro won’t turn on Night Mode if it thinks you don’t need it. Which is a different experience from Night Mode on other devices.

You can shoot up to 4K 60fps with HDR support; iOS 13 adds new video editing features; and Apple has even introduced a new font, SF Camera, designed just for the camera app.

iPhone 11 Pro: Verdict

If you can justify the extra cost, the Pro is unquestionably the best iPhone of the bunch. It has a superior screen, a fantastic triple camera system and isn’t as bulky as the Pro Max model. The basic iPhone 11 will suffice for many, but if you’re looking for Apple’s best-of-best, look no further.
