Balance is synonymous with symmetry. The house interior designers use three types of balance in interior design, naming, symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial. Symmetrical balance occurs when the subject is mirror on the opposite side. Asymmetrical balance is less identical on either side of the central line. Lastly, radial balance is when all the elements radiate from the center of the space. A designer should be well aware of these individual types of balance so that they can help in creating an appealing look. All these types of balance should be use together to create balance within an interior space. 

  • Harmony

This is where it all comes together. If other principles are utilize correctly it can create a sense of harmony in an interior environment. Many elements come together at the ending stage to bring about harmony in the environment.
