Instructor:
Yogi Ankur
Ankur is a certified yoga teacher by Yoga Alliance and has been practicing yoga since 2010. His teaching style is very detailed and focuses on every step of alignment movement. Ashtanga yoga is his favorite style because it needs high discipline to achieve yoga goals, like flexibility, strength, focus, and concentration, as well as carefully listening to the body. He is a certified yoga teacher for an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) for 200 hours and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) for 500 hours.
You will explore the theory, science, and practices of each unit from the fields of Pranayama and Ayurveda. Additionally, this course introduces the practitioner to Ayurvedic concepts as they pertain to those units of study and relevant areas of inquiry.
A good yoga teacher will be capable of weaving asanas, pranayamas, and meditation sequences as per the needs & intentions of the students in their classes. Not to forget, the classes will also be impacted by their knowledge of yoga philosophy, the style of yoga they teach, bio-mechanics, energetic requirements, the effects of asanas on the students, and the needs of the students.
